In recent years, we have gone through a rapid but controlled expansion and continue to grow the business, and are currently focusing on building the team to support this. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a part time bookkeeper who enjoys working in a creative environment, has a can-do attitude and lots of experience working in Xero and Excel with a solid understanding of CIS.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare customer periodic statements and follow-up on overdue debts
- Prepare and issue CIS statements
- Maintain cash flow forecast in excel
- Performing general bookkeeping duties such as processing receipts and invoices on Xero, reconciling accounts and updating the office manager on outstanding sales ledgers.
- Raising invoices and management of the team’s billing process including fee spreadsheets
- Sending out invoices to clients and dealing with any queries
- Raising and processing purchase order requests
- Assisting with VAT Returns.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience with accounting platform Xero is mandatory.
- Working with Excel is a must
- Knowledge of CIS is essential
- Previous experience within a bookkeeping role.
- Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Keen eye for details
- Aptitude for financial procedures and record keeping
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently

Salary is per Annum pro rata

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
