Jark (Bradford) Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division require herdsperson/general farm worker for our client based in the Keighley area to work as part of a friendly, experienced team.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:

- To assist in the general welfare and care of livestock
- To milking cows.
- To handle the movement of stock.
- Feeding stock.
- Bedding stock
- Scraping slurry both by hand and tractor.
- Washing down both hand and pressure washer and CIP.
- General cleaning and keeping tidy the farm & yards.
- Loading/unloading feedstuffs both by hand and machine.
- Field work either by hand or machine.
- All tractor work required on a grassland farm.
- When operating tractors and machinery you are responsible for maintaining the correct fuel, oil, water and air pressure levels, all lighting is in working condition and all guards are intact, any defects must be reported to Grass Land Manager.
- To liaise with and take instruction from the Herd Manager, Grassland Manager, Herdsman and Managing Director
You must ensure you have the relevant training to undertake all your duties or tasks if not inform your Manager.
This role offers flexible working days to suit
06:00 to 18:00 12 hours shifts
07:00 - 17:30 10 hours shifts
10:00 - 20:30 10 hours shifts
Pay rate: £13.20 per hour
This is a temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks of working
