**Responsibilities**:
**Financial Strategy and Planning**:

- Work with Directors to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with Naturecan's overall business objectives, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
- Drive the FP&A function, providing accurate and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes at both strategic and operational levels.
- Oversee and enforce the budgeting and forecasting process for all global entities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide financial guidance to senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, providing clear insights into financial performance to key stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks across the organization, implementing robust risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets and reputation.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining strong internal controls and governance frameworks across all global entities.
- Monitor financial operations related to ecommerce activities, including sales forecasting, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Analyse ecommerce performance metrics and KPIs to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Identify and assess financial risks across the organization, implementing robust risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets and reputation

**Ecommerce Financial Management**:
**Financial Reporting and Compliance**:

- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts to senior management, investors, and board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Manage internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.

**Risk Management and Control**:

- Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard and maintain financial integrity.
- Monitor and assess market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting the financial landscape.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Provide leadership to the finance team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Proven experience in financial management or similar role.
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA Qualified Accountant.
- Demonstrated expertise in ecommerce financial management.
- Experience dealing with group accounts and subsidiaries.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive results amidst ambiguity and change.
- Experience in the CBD, Wellness, Medicinal Cannabis, or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
