Senior Procurement Manager

Here at **HM Land Registry,** we have an exciting opportunity available for you to join us as a **Senior Procurement Manager.**You will join us on a full-time basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£38,552 per annum (Croydon £42,099 per annum).**

As our Senior Procurement Manager you will play a key part in ensuring that procurement activities throughout HM Land Registry are undertaken in accordance with the appropriate legislation/regulations and prevailing Government guidelines and best practices.

**Key responsibilities for the Senior Procurement Manager**:
Transformation & Corporate Business Services Team (2 roles)
- Working with teams across HMLR to develop specifications, evaluation criteria, terms and conditions as part of the bidders’ pack
- Engaging with suppliers in the marketplace, across all stages of the commercial lifecycle to ensure a competitive landscape and supply chain.
- Developing commercial practices and processes and ensuring commercial risk controls are in place; making informed commercial decisions and recommendations
- Planning and managing own and team’s workload to meet deadlines; understand priorities and be responsible for delivery

Policy & Assurance (1 role)
- Championing procurement best practices and will work with others to create a proactive and intelligent function
- Being responsible for introducing and embedding various policy requirements throughout the Commercial Team

Responsible for the drafting of management information, policy documents and guidance using your knowledge of public procurement.
Lead the development of high-quality process guidance and other training materials.
Participant in relevant cross government and departmental working groups, feeding information back into the department and throughout Commercial Team.

**What we’re looking for in our Senior Procurement Manager**:

- Do you hold or are you working towards (if not already held) a full professional qualification in procurement and supply at MCIPS (Professional Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent? Are you proficient in MS Excel?
