Taxi Controller

Due to continuous business growth, we are currently recruiting for a Full Time Taxi Controller to join our busy taxi office based in Ipswich town centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident individual with a friendly and professional telephone manner to become a valued member of our team.

Duties include:

- Accepting and processing telephone or corporate bookings while providing excellent customer service
- Effectively planning and dispatching the taxi routes while communicating with drivers
- Processing card payments over the phone and providing receipts where required
- Prioritizing the workload and multitasking are important part of the day to day job

The successful applicant must be honest, reliable and able to work as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with an office/customer service experience are essential for this role. Good geographical knowledge of Ipswich and IT skills would be anadvantage, however, full training will be provided.

Please note this role is based on shift pattern, therefore, some weekend, day and afternoon shifts are included with a minimum of 24 hours a week and the rate of pay being based on experience. To comply with the Council licensing policy, you will be requiredto have a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check completed which we can process on your behalf.
