**Key Relationships**
This role is an inter-company, cross-functional role that requires the building of effective relationships with key individuals in multiple domains and in all countries where the company operates. The Business Process Architect must work closely with the ChiefOperations Officer who takes the lead on the priority of specific changes, and the engagement of business process change within a bigger picture of group evolution. The role is reporting into the COO.
**The role**
**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure appropriate mapping of new product developments, capability enhancements and operational efficiency changes onto business processes.
- Alignment of business process architectures with the strategic direction of the wider business.
- End to end processes, analysis, improvement, re-engineering, modeling (documentation) of MSP and MVNO business processes per desired telecom frameworks (eTOM or similar).
- Assessment of existing business process automation through different systems and identification of deficient / poor or manual processes and/or gaps in process.
- Facilitation of process workshops with business system owners or specialists, recommending changes to stakeholders and senior managers.
- Evaluation of changes to process and evolution of ideal requirements for process improvement, including the redesign of such processes in harmony with process owners and stakeholders.
- Evangelism and training of changes and documentation of evolved processes.
- Recommendation and building of a business process performance management framework with fit-for-purpose and relevant process KPIs in alignment with business and operations objectives and KPIs (cascading business and operations objectives and KPIs to processlevel KPIs).
- Maintaining knowledge of domain best practice and methodology appropriate to the business process architecture and the telecoms industry
- To ensure all Telecom (MVNO) specific processes are developed and documented in accordance with Telecom operator standards and are accessible and available for business process stakeholders via process management or ISO standards tools.
- Plan, communicate and execute data integration projects and align delivery of the same with other resources, taking into account their availability.
- Report regularly as required on the progress of such plans.
- Work closely with other technology professionals within the company to ensure that processes are designed appropriately and associated process implementations are working properly.
- Ensure that effective security is prioritized and included in the design of all integrations and process changes.

**Skills required**:

- Full understanding of OSS/BSS Processes with established in depth experience in re-engineering these processes as per eTOM standards.
- **Telco background is not required**:

- Proficiency in business process modeling and governance and tools (BPM Tools).
- Good systems and processes knowledge, Sage X3, Salesforce, Zendesk is helpful
- Extensive knowledge of the principals and methodologies of process transformation
- Knowledge of business systems
- Experience of working with management information systems
- An understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- An understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
- Time/task management and leadership skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
