Trinity Business Support are currently looking for an experienced HGV fitter to join our clients team based within in Rochester, Kent.

Our client are a driving force behind many industries in the UK. You have probably seen their trucks on the UK road networks, and some you may not have even realised were theres.. But to keep their business ahead, they need a crack team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain their fleet.

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join our client at their site in Rochester. You’ll work 45 hours per week on a Monday to Friday day shift, working alternating early and late shifts, and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
- Diagnose faults on vehicles
- Work on Rigids, Tractors and Trailers
- Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage

**What you need to succeed**:

- Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
- Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as NVQ
- A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)

**Experience**:

- HGV Fitter/Mechanic: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (preferred)
