Opus People Solutions are seeking an HR Generalist for an award-winning local business.
You will be providing HR Advice and Guidance in the education sector and will have experience in employee relation cases alongside the development of in-house training.
As an HR Generalist, you will be working with schools and academies providing HR Advice and Guidance to support the best outcomes for children's education. You will have experience in advising on your own caseload of HR employee relation cases, alongside deliveringand developing training courses.
You will:

- Provide advice and guidance for an education environment including safe recruitment practices
- Act as an HR contact for individual schools, regularly attending meetings.
- Support CEOs of the Multi-Academy Trusts
- Liaise with trade unions on ER cases
- Undertaking investigations as required depending on capacity.
- To provide advice and guidance on TUPE Conversions.
- Associate CIPD Level 5 with a desire to work towards CIPD Chartered Member Level
- At least 3 years of operational knowledge and experience advising on employee relations cases.
- Designed and delivered HR training.
- Have worked in an unionised environment.
- Extensive employment law knowledge.
