A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an **Transport Supervisor** to join our **Gatwick** based Logistics team, being responsible for supporting the transport management team in the smooth running of the transport function in line with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.

This will entail ensuring that all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner whilst maintaining a good customer service attitude and approach. In addition, the role will include ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements, drivers are managed to work within the drivers hours and working time regulations, using the company recognised process’s to manage full compliance.

Other duties will include making sure health and safety obligations are met, providing a legal and safe working environment for all employees that consistently exceed quality standards required.

You must be prepared to step in and lead the hub in the absence of the Transport Supervisor, and maintain the standards expected by the company. A good overall knowledge of the running of the hub is essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.
