Hse Coordinator

A well-established global manufacturer located in Telford is looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Co-ordinator to support the HSE Manager. This role will be supporting with site audits, implementing HSE procedures, report writing and new starter training/ inductions.

**The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for**:

- Providing operations and administration support for safety programmed and policies
- Carrying out basic inspection of the workplace such as safety tests and hazard monitoring
- Acting as part of the emergency response team
- Carrying out employee training and creating records, manuals, and documents
- Implementing safety measures
- Fire safety
- Health and Safety audits and reports
- Accident reports
- Preparing safety manuals
- Ensuring First Aid equipment is suitable
- Ensuring the company is compliant with environment policies and legislation

**Skills and Experience**
- Must have previous experience in a similar Health Safety Environmental role such as HSE Advisor / HSE Controller / HSE Officer / HSE Manager / HSE Administrator
- Ideally have experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment
- Must hold or be working towards a NEBOSH General Certificate
- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 would be advantageous
- Must be computer literate and able to communicate effectively
