Building Repair Solutions (BRS) Ltd is an expanding building contractor business providing building repairs to domestic properties in the Insurance market. With offices in Essex, the Midlands and Scotland the last few years have seen steady growth leadingto us opening a new office covering London West.

BRS is looking to recruit an experienced insurance claims handler based at The Waterfront, Brierley Hill.

The role would suit someone who has insurance related experience and has a confident phone manner. Using multiple IT systems, you will be used to a fast-paced environment and thinking on your 'own two feet'.

Our office at The Waterfront provides an excellent working environment as does the team that you'd be working with. Although insurance experience is preferred, if you are capable and quick learning, these attributes are more important.
- Liaising with customers and being their first point of contact to gather information for assessing a claim.
- Be a point of contact for customers for updates on the claim process.
- Manage caseloads of claims by using a diary system and communicating with all internal and external parties involved including claims managers, contractors and loss adjusters to provide the best service to the customer.
- Handling diaries of tradesmen and surveyors to visit customers’ homes, keeping all parties updated and in the loop.

What we're looking for -- Proven experience within claims, specifically within domestic building insurance.
- Excellent customer service experience and ability to multi task.
- Strong organisation skills and high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and with a varied workload.
- Team player with a passion for helping others.
- Proactive and able to work with initiative.
