As a Senior IT Service Continuity Manager, you'll lead the ITSCM team, set the standards, and grow our ITSCM capability. It's a one-off opportunity to make a lasting and far-reaching difference to the robustness of our services across DWP Digital.

Your team protects and sustains live service for millions of customers, ensuring the most vulnerable in society can access the systems they need.

You'll plan, prepare and test the recovery of IT services in the event of a disaster.

Your team will analyse and assess the impact of current issues affecting live service operation, and the consequential effects it may have on disaster recovery plans.

The team is responsible for reviewing the resilience status of the live service, associated risks and issues and planning resilience testing, as well as focussing on customer business objectives including quality, service excellence and customer satisfaction,with the aim of zero tolerance to production outages.

**What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?**
- You have a proven track record in IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) and can demonstrate that you have worked in an ITSCM function where you have operated an assurance / risk based managed ITSCM process.
- You'll have a working knowledge of the main IT infrastructure and maintenance functions required of large, complex and highly integrated systems, including the principles of maintaining a large and complex IT estate and the associated risks.
- You have ITIL certification (or equivalent) and can demonstrate Service Management Framework experience in the Service Operations function (Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity, ITSCM and CSI).
