**Contract**: 9-12 month fixed term to cover maternity **Working Pattern**:Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks) **Hours**:12.5 hours per week, 3pm-530pm Monday Friday **Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata)**: £7178 per annum - Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments_ **Are you the person we need to lead with the management, development and daily running of the After School Club?** We need someone who: has experience of providing a safe and caring environment in line with statutory guidance, where children can enjoy a range of play, learning and leisure activities. can assist with organising a daily routine that meets the emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of the children. can assist with building links and work in partnership with parents and professionals to promote the wellbeing of the children. The after school club co-ordinator has the responsibility of liaising with and working closely with the after school club assistant in ensuring that the club runs smoothly. The safe and happy play environment of the club depends on the management skills of the club co-ordinator supported by the assistant. The post holder must have an understanding of the relevant statutory guidance and play principles. An awareness of child protection issues and procedures is essential. The post holder must have effective communication skills to be able to inform, persuade, inspire and motivate children and staff and provide feedback to professionals, parents and other stakeholders. **Churchwood Primary Academy** Churchwood Primary Academy is a one-form entry school situated in the picturesque setting of Church Wood in St Leonards, where children aged two to eleven discover the joy of learning through creativity and inspiration.
