The Godolphin and Latymer School is one of the country’s leading independent day schools for girls, located on a six acre site in Hammersmith, London. The School’s facilities are excellent, making it an exciting place to learn and work. There is a very active extra-curricular offering within the department, to which all members of the department are expected to contribute. We run several trips, including to foreign destinations, and the Head of Department will take a lead role in planning such excursions. All members of departmental staff assist with the university preparation programme and participate in our thriving History Society, Politics Society and Anthropology and Social Sciences Society. All staff are expected to support the wider school extra-curricular programme in some way.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Single-occupancy accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.

- All staff working in the School during the school day will have contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. As a teaching member of staff you will be working directly with, and be responsible for, the children that you teach. You are also likely to have contact with other pupils on a regular basis [which may include specific pastoral or other responsibilities for pupils whom you do not teach._
