**About the opportunity...** We are recruiting for an Assistant Branch Merchandiser to join our Central Operations team. Based at our Pep&Co Head Office in Watford, the role has a flexible working location, allowing you to work from home and the office.

As an Assistant Branch Merchandiser, you will report to the Branch Merchandiser. You will manage and review store performance and stock allocation across Pep&Co stores in the UK and ROI to maximise sales and reduce markdowns.

You will also be the point of contact for system queries, ensuring the JDA allocation system is updated and accurate.

We are committed to supporting our colleagues with their development. This role comes with the ability to study a level 4 apprenticeship in Buying and merchandising.

**What you'll be doing...** As an Assistant Branch Merchandiser, your duties will consist of:

- Monitoring the stock allocation across Pep&Co departments
- Liaising with Distribution Centres (DC), Merchandising team and stores to identify best and worst sellers, current stock in circulation and stores
- Analysing to support product teams with weekly actions to ensure improvement in sales, profit and stock
- Working closely with the Branch Merchandiser with seasonal grading, new openings and closures
- Support the Branch Merchandiser which the management of expansion into new stores
- Managing new stock builds for new store launches
- Review grading changes to reflect openings, closures, space changes and recent performance figures.

**What you'll need...**:

- Previous experience as Assistant Branch Merchandiser or Merchandiser working within the clothing industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and remotely
- Intermediate Excel Skills - advanced is desirable
- Strong communications with the ability to liaise with all levels and different departments.
