Senior Aerospace Weston, located in Lancashire, England, is a leading supplier of a wide range of complex precision machined components, and sub
- assemblies for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs’) predominantly in the commercial aviation market sector. Our experience and core capabilities support multiple segments of an aircraft’s build, including the manufacture of engine compressor and fan components, engine pylon mounting brackets, pintles, wing ribs and associated aero-structure components. We aim to support our customers with a complete solution, including supply chain management and delivery of line-side kits where appropriate.

**What does the job involve?**

To inspect manufactured parts to meet customer requirements and standards

**What will my responsibilities include?**
- Perform any visual inspection operations
- Perform OAC's and adhere to Company 5S requirements
- Complete batch inspections on any components
- Operate CMM's
- Expected to perform first off's
- Perform manual CMM operations
- Carryout all secondary inspection operations
- Calibration of all Aerofoil master blades
- Fixture dimensional over checks
- Forging drawing appreciation and full 1st principal overchecks

**What key skills and experience do I need?**
- Good level of previous experience in Inspection or using inspection equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- In-depth knowledge of products and inspection techniques
- Capable of working in other inspection areas within the business
- Ability to take part and contribute to problem solving quality issues
- Ability to set robust manual 1st principal overchecks for manufacturing purposes

- Time served

Hours: 6- 2/2-10 weekly rotation - 37 Hours per week
