Technical Services Administrator

**Job description**:
**Summary of role**
The Technical Services Administrator will work as part of a support team to provide a professional customer focused administration service, ensuring that the most effective systems and processes are followed at all times and customers’ needs are not just consistently met but also exceeded.
They will be responsible for the administration of any projects the company undertakes, act as the first point of contact for all the clients and work closely with the surveyors to complete any necessary administration.
**Key duties**
- Assist surveyors with their daily administrative duties
- Assist with site inspections and deal with telephone queries
- Manage the filing and archiving of project files
- Deal with all incoming and outgoing queries
- To extract information from the system for use by the technical teams
- Liaise with clients to collate information required, saving in the relevant place
- After review, to proactively chase the clients for information
- Manage a stock of documents
- Assist with any ad-hoc admin tasks when required
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within the construction industry
- Highly organised with a natural ability to prioritise your workload
- Have excellent customer service skills and be confident on the phone with a confident client manner
- You’ll be able to demonstrate your excellent communication skills and team-player attitude
- A clear understanding of the importance of customer service to both internal and external customers
- A high level of interpersonal skills with an ability to deal people at all levels
- Excellent PC and keyboard skills, with proven experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
- Excellent literacy and verbal/communication skills
- An ability to carry out general administration and clerical tasks to good standard
- An ability to maintain both electronic files, hard files, and records accurately
