**£30,023 per annum dependant on experience**
**37 hours per week**
Could you be an effective member of the Community Development Team, making a significant and effective contribution to the team and Worthing Homes ensuring that it is well positioned to achieve its vision, current and future business and operational plans and performance targets?
We are responsible for a high quality; customer focussed housing management and support service. This will include the provision of an intensive housing management services to sheltered housing residents
- The ability to organise and prioritise own workload with a minimum of supervision
- Case management experience
- Good IT skills
- The able to work as part of a team, taking a positive and active approach to resolving problems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of dealing with reports of anti-social behaviour and pursuing rent arrears is desirable
- Full and valid driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
**Main responsibilities**:
- To contribute to the work of the Community Development Team to deliver excellent quality, flexible, customer focussed services to enable us to achieve, or exceed, our customer satisfaction targets.
- To work well with colleagues across the business in a resident centred approach so that we provide joined up services that meet our vision and values.
- To provide a flexible, low level housing related, floating support service to residents to maintain or restore their independence and sustain their tenancy, including but not restricted to; ensuring residents are accessing correct benefits, support with tackling housing issues, including the condition of the home and hoarding, signposting and co-ordinating support in conjunction with other organisations.
- To complete a risk assessment, needs assessment and support plan for each resident who requires support and be accountable for delivering that support.
- To provide financial inclusion advice and pursue any rent arrears in line with the Rent Recovery Policy and Procedure
- To assist in the promotion, design and arranging of community development activities for sheltered housing residents’ and older residents’ requiring support.
