Syrup Room Advanced Team Operative

Refresco, the world’s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer are recruiting a **Production Advanced Team Operative (syrup Room) **for our **Pontefract** Site. You will play an important role in making sure some of the best-known drink’s brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers. **About the Role**

You do not need previous experience as full training will be provided. You will be part of a supportive team, led by the Syrup Room Manager, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.

As a **Production Advanced Team Operative (syrup Room) **your main tasks and duties will be:

- Follow the production plan and checking that all the required ingredients are available for the shift ahead
- Closely follow recipes and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure batches of our products are made up correctly
- Take samples from all batches according to the testing plan and input results into the IT system
- Ensure the Syrup Room is audit ready at all times, following our clean as you go policy and cleaning schedules
- Book in bulk tanker deliveries as and when required
- Liaise with colleagues in our Warehouse, Engineering Department and Production regarding deliveries, machine issues or delays to the mixing process
- Support with basic maintenance within the Syrup Room
- Support the Operations team with product changes, new product trials and customer visits/ audits

**Salary and Benefits**

You will be paid an hourly rate of £13.39, in addition to shift allowance, which as an annual salary is £31,467.46. Your shift pattern will be **3on3off rotating days and nights**. In addition, you will have 2 x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme, a sports and social fund and free on-site car parking.
