Job Description & Specification

Introduction

At Bedstretch we manufacture the PillowShelf, a patented bed extender. It is made withlightweight plywood with a foam topping, covered in a flame resistant fabric and then assembled into a free standing item of furniture with metal height adjustable legs.

Tasks could include:

- Preparing and Fitting tee nuts to plywood tops and legs
- Cutting and gluing foam
- Laying out patterns and cutting fabric
- Machining fabric
- Staple tacking fabric onto tops and legs
- Assembling PillowShelfs
- Packing and Despatch

We are therefore looking for a great all-rounder, with attention to detail, who doesn’t mind turning their hand to whatever is asked of them. This is a great opportunity for someone to join us at the beginning of our PillowShelf adventure, to grow with the company and into their areas of strength.

This position is ideally for 37 hours per week, however part time will be considered. Pay will start at £11.50 per hour. Annual leave will be 20 days per year (or pro rata as applicable) plus bank holidays and a pension scheme will be offered.
