**About us**

**We are looking for a practitioner who is genuinely interested in working with children under the age of 5 who is available to work between the hours of 7.40 - 4.00 term time for either 4 days over the week or 2 x 2 days.**

Squirrels Pre-School is a small business in Totton, SO40 8WU. We are professional, fun and supportive.

- Create and implement age-appropriate activities for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom

- Good standard of education including a level 2/3 if possible
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children
