**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and assist with setting up or clearing tables as required.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards guests and team members.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a lively restaurant atmosphere, demonstrating a proactive approach to guest services.
