**WHAT IS GOOD KARMA?**

Good Karma Coffee House was born out of a love of awesome (*ethical) coffee and good brunch. Inspired by the owner’s travels, the business sought to create a laid-back brunch experience for the local community. Good Karma Coffee House opened during the 2020 pandemic and we are extremely proud of where we are currently. We feel fortunate that, what was a small business venture, is now a busy coffee shop in the heart of the community with future expansion plans within the locality of West Yorkshire.

Our coffee benefits all involved in the supply chain, considering the environment and social impact as well as economic growth. The origin of our coffee is something that we can assure our customers of and is something that we are extremely proud of.

**WHERE DO YOU COME IN?**

As a member of the Front of House Team, you are an integral part of the Good Karma team. You will have a passion for all things brunch and coffee which is communicated to our customers through exceptional customer service. You will many opportunities to show off your product knowledge and creativity (from menus, to latte art and product development), all while maintaining our outstanding coffee/food standards.

**WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?**

The role of Front of House at Good Karma requires you to wear many hats so it would be difficult to list _everything _that you will do - but we have outlined the key responsibilities below. You will be provided with in-house training so that you feel confident with the day-to-day operations of the store, including familiarising yourself with our policies and procedures.
- The ability to perform under pressure - we are extremely fast-paced which often requires you to think on your feet.
- The ability to form authentic relationships with our customers and provide an exceptional hospitality experience.
- Meticulous upkeep of standards, both coffee, food and hygiene, ensuring the store meets public health and company standards.
- A team player who is willing to be hands-on, supporting the team as required such as serving drinks, clearing tables and delivering table service.
- Cash handling.

As always, there are a few **pre-requisites **such as:

- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a retail/hospitality role.
- Barista experience desirable.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £7.50-£12.00 per hour
