**About us**

We’re a growing, multi-award-wining marketing communications and PR agency providing digital marketing, traditional marketing support and public relations. We live by our name and need someone who is also a ‘Sharp Mind’: ambitious for themselves, for us and for our clients.

**About the role**

The focus of the role is marketing and PR, but with additional administration skills that are essential for any modern office-based job. Your initial duties will include:
MARKETING: Monitoring news feeds to supply business intelligence to clients and inform marketing activities. Social media, including writing and scheduling posts, relationship building and analytics. Digital content management, including scheduling blogs and analytics. Campaign monitoring. Public relations support, including sending out press releases to journalists. Plus the opportunity to progress to content creation for digital and offline marketing.

**About you**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a firm grasp of basic English grammar.
- Good interpersonal skills, as you will be required to represent the company when talking to clients as well as working productively within a small team.
- Able to work under your own initiative, as you will sometimes work alone.
- Ambitious to develop a broad range of marketing and business administration skills to set you on a successful career in the expanding sector of digital marketing.
- Competent typist.
- 5 GCEs Grades 9-3 incl maths (minimum grade 4) and English language (minimum grade 5).

Excellent on-the-job training from the team of highly experienced writers and marketers, supported by formal apprenticeship training worth £12,000 that leads to a recognised digital marketing qualification. For the right person, there is the opportunity to grow with the business; we ideally want to find someone who in 18 months will be ready to take on more responsibility and help us recruit and train the next apprentice. We’re a small team, so you will be able to make a huge contribution to our success - and be able to benefit from the opportunity to learn a wide range of professional, in-demand skills. Our last apprentices went on to a prestigious digital marketing agency in London and an international organisation, spearheading their digital campaigns
