**Hotel - Carlyon Bay Hotel and Golf Club**
**Hours 24 hours per week**
**Working 3 days a week 8 hrs a day fully flexible Monday to Friday Weekends off**

As the Health and Safety Officer, you will assist the Hotel management team in ensuring a compliant, safe environment for our colleagues, guests and visitors. **What will I be doing?**
As the Health and Safety Officer at the Carlyon Bay Hotel and Golf Club, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Audit / Monitor Kitchens to ensure Food Safety standards are being met.
- Report on general Health and Safety on site.
- Record and assess all accident and first aid reports.
- Work closely with Hotel Managers to make sure safe practices are used.
- Make sure Fire Safety standards are met and maintained including all fire equipment.
- Pro-actively work to improve standards.
- Carry out Risk Assessments on equipment and individuals where required.
- Manage contractors procedures on site.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act.

Previous experience is essential (preferably in a similar setting), ideally you will also hold a recognized Health and Safety qualification
