Machine Operative
**Shift Pattern Availability**: 4/7 or 5/7
Option A (Days): 6am - 6pm
Options B (Nights): 6pm - 6am

**Salary**: up to £10.52 per hour, dependant on skill (full training is provided)
**The Role**
Our Operatives are (quite literally) the bread and butter of Geary’s. You’re responsible for ensuring the delicious bread we produce, and package is of the best possible quality, that adds a spark of joy to people’s daily lives. Your main responsibilities include:

- Operate and maintain the machine ensuring the highest possible quality of product- Maintain a tight control of the level of waste product- Carry out and record periodic checks- Ensure the good housekeeping of the work area and that CAYG (clean as you go) is strictly adhered to- Prior to use, ensure machinery is in safe working condition- You must be prepared to carry out other duties as and when required, such as tray/tin up and/or other production dutiesYou’ll be moving around a busy bakery, carrying out manual and non-manual tasks, which may be physically demanding at times.
