Credit Control Specialist

Allstaff Finance & Accountancy Division seek an experienced Credit Controller for a large manufacturer based in Paisley. We seek individuals who have worked within a busy commercial or manufacturing environment.
Hours of work are 8.30-5pm, with flexible working offered and the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
You will be responsible for the Credit Control function which incorporates around 300+ active customers globally, building relationships with account managers on a number of high profile customers.
This is a fast paced role where we seek those who are systems orientated, have great excel experience with a strong problem solving mindset and a great level of confidence to speak with customers, internal accounts and sales teams at all levels.
The role:
- Accurate and efficient operation of various accounting systems, processes and controls across a range of disciplines
- Operates and adheres to all required accounting controls
- Accurate processing of cashbooks, sales ledgers using a multi-currency system
- Review of self-bill information to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
- Effectively manages all data input, delivers accurate outputs and takes ownership for making improvements in their job role
- Participates in interim and final audit of accounting procedures with external auditors
- Build effective relationships with fellow team members, management and other stakeholders
- Meets all required deadlines and produces high quality output
- Identifies and highlights irregularities/risks to the business operations
