Edinburgh, United Kingdom NatWest Group Full time

Our people work differently depending on their jobs and needs. From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.

This role is based in the United Kingdom and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.

Join us as a Finance Climate Lead
- We’ll look to you to provide climate insight and knowledge to assist the leadership team with key product, cost, and investment decisions in conjunction with the franchise which support our climate and purpose ambitions
- It’s an opportunity to build and maintain positive working relationships across the bank at all levels in an exciting and developing field

**What you'll do**:
As a Finance Climate Lead, you’ll enable change in relation to our climate agenda by making sure activities are in place to adequately prepare the business and engage all appropriate stakeholders. You’ll represent the franchise at relevant internal and external climate and environmental fora, and you’ll actively promote and contribute to the climate agenda to support the achievement of a purpose-focussed culture that inspires colleague engagement at all levels. You’ll ultimately be helping the franchise and Finance make decisions which harmonise our financial and climate ambitions.

In addition to this, you’ll be:

- Providing commercial and financial insights and analysis to help influence key business decisions which support our climate and purpose ambitions
- Reviewing and providing input for plans, forecasts, and stress scenarios and providing business leads with key themes and analysis
- Generating modelling, and providing product and sector overlays for plans, forecasts, and stress and conduct analysis on product and sector climate impacts and how this supports our climate and purpose ambitions
- Supporting stakeholders to embed climate and purpose in performance management and decision making, and building climate capability and awareness across Finance

**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone with strong finance business partnering and analytical skills, with the experience to lead change and influence a wide range of internal and senior stakeholders. You’ll need to be comfortable working at pace and be well articulated with core financial processes including internal MI and financial forecasting and budgeting. A detailed knowledge of climate and climate measures is not a requirement but would be helpful. We’re also looking for someone who is comfortable to challenge, to be curious, and continually seek to improve what we deliver for stakeholders.

As well as this, you’ll demonstrate:

- Confidence when working with a level of uncertainty
- The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
