**Title: Mental Health & Behaviour Support Assistant
- Full time (8:30am-3:30pmMonday - Friday)**

Are you patient, compassionate and approachable individual seeking to offer support to vulnerable children?

A friendly Primary school based in Wokingham is currently seeking Behavioural support assistant and would like them to join their team this November This is a fantastic training ground for both aspirations within mainstream and SEN teaching, watching OTS,Speech and Language Therapists at work, this role is all about giving the children a sense of purpose. This role will allow you to see a range of therapist, SEN and Mental health specialists at work

The position will see you working within the school for the rest of this academic year, focusing on working one to one and providing emotional & social support to all pupils. The school has a number of children living with various mental health and learningdisabilities ranging from Autism, Challenging behaviour and ADHD.

Focus on SEMH, Autism Therapy for example - Ideal LSA role for a Linguistic Graduate, Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduate before you decide on committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project.

**_Key Points_**
- Learning Support Assistant in Mainstream Primary school for children aged 5-11,
- Positive reinforcement with each student, making their lives as good as they can be
- Working one to one with children living with ADHD, Aspergers, OCD, Dyslexia and a focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges
- In Primary and EYDS, focus on verbal and nonverbal students - many therapies implemented
- Outstanding Teaching and support teams in place, a wonderfully holistic and positive atmosphere - EYFS to KY2
- Focus on learning need and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills
- £75 per day, Monday to Friday, 9-3pm long term to permanent role
