**Gardener**

We are looking for an enthusiastic **full time **gardener, required **5 days a week**, for a large private garden near Malmesbury, to work as part of a small team.

**Minimum 3 years experience is essential**, must have a strong knowledge of trees, shrubs and plants as well as a true passion for gardening. Applicants should hold a recognized qualification in gardening and/or horticulture (i.e. RHS or City and Guilds) and be ready to hit the ground running. Ideally having a good knowledge of first aid at work, a certificate is an advantage.

Must be competent in using, and maintaining, a variety of garden machinery and equipment (petrol and electric), be physically fit and be willing to work in all different weather conditions.

Jobs include, but are not limited to - hedge cutting, topiary, leaf blowing, strimming, border tidying, weeding, tree pruning and other general garden maintenance and upkeep. All tools and equipment provided. There may be opportunities to assist with larger projects, dependent on experience.

Working Hours**:40hrs** - Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm, no overtime or weekend working.

References required
- Perform various gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, and watering plants
- Operate power tools and hand tools to maintain and enhance the landscape
- Remove weeds and pests to ensure the health of plants
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects, including mulching and irrigation system maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of different types of plants and their care requirements
- Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools used in gardening
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail to ensure the proper care of plants and landscapes
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members

Note: Experience working on a farm or in groundskeeping is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour
