**JOB TITLE**: Accounts and Credits Assistant

**LOCATION**: Plymouth

**HOURS**: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**SALARY**: Up to £20, 000 per annum dependent on experience

**THE ROLE**:

- To assist the Credit Controllers in operating an efficient credit control reminder system
- To assist with billing tasks
- To communicate billing arrangements with the Credit Control team to ensure a smooth and efficient system for collecting invoices
- To lead monthly billing ensuring bills are processed correctly and in a timely manner
- To maintain repayment plan reminders and debt recovery log
- To allocate all office payments to the ledger
- Other duties to ensure the department runs smoothly

**THE CANDIDATE**:

- Experience in a similar role
- The ability to produce work which is both accurate and of high quality.
- The ability to be proactive and organised
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and bank procedures
- Eagerness to learn and develop
- You must have a flexible approach and the ability to work in a team environment
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
