**Calling graduates in English, Maths and Science to supervise secondary aged pupils.**

**Position**: Pupil supervisor

**Location**: Cardiff

**Type**: Full-Time & part-time, Long-Term and short-term

**Pay rate** - £90 - £100 per day

**About the Role**:
To be a pupil supervisor you will be required to lead lessons in secondary schools with the work already planned and provided. Subject knowledge and a bachelor's degree are essential, you will also need to have experience either within schools or in environments where you have worked/supervised children aged between 11 to 18.

This role is perfect for a graduate who has an interest in teaching or tutoring in the future and would like to learn on the job.

**We have a cluster of schools that are using pupil mentor s on a regular basis.**

We can therefore, suit individual needs in terms of how much you would like to work, whether you want full-time work or a couple of days a week, we can adapt to your working pattern.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver pre-planned work to students.
- Assist in the development of pupils learning within a classroom environment.
- Encourage a positive and supportive learning.
- Make school a fun learning experience for all pupils.
- Develop working relationships by engaging with all pupils in the classroom.
- Be prepared to be cover a range of different lessons during your day.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of assisting children
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- A passion to help students succeed and get the most out of your time with them.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Personable, patient and caring.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- 2 x references.
