**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POST**: Retrieve letters from the hospital Dictate IT system as necessary for relevant appointments. To order and top up all related ophthalmology leaflets. To prepare notes for pre-assessment and for surgery and ensure they are properly tracked. To obtain case notes required for audit and ensure they properly tracked.

To file any results and correspondence into case notes as required. To undertake clerical/administrative duties as required such as accurate filing, photocopying, opening and distributing post etc. To carry out stock checks and ordering of office supplies, stationery and consumables for the department. General responsibilities To support the department and organisation by carrying out any other duties that reasonably fit within the broad scope of a job of this grade and type of work.
