**Job Title**:Quality andTechnical Support

**Location**:Skelmersdale, Lancashire

**Contract**: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

As Quality and technical support you will work efficiently alongside our technical advisor, purchasing team and customer service to ensure a smooth customer journey and improve products and service provided. You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers/factories for improving product quality, packaging and instructions where needed along with assisting the customer service department with plumbing technical advice.

**As Quality and Technical support, your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting the customer service department with any installation advice, product queries, and identification of faults.
- Liaising with customer service and external stakeholders when identifying common faults/issues and reporting these through the correct channels. You will also be expected to communicate with suppliers/factories in order to improve products and packaging.
- Investigate product issues reported into customer service team, this includes testing or inspection of the product, recording data and finding possible solutions for common reports.
- Ensure technical files and specifications are produced and effectively maintained in line with due diligence.
- Reporting on damages to senior management and common trends.
- Continually evaluate packaging solutions to improve seamless customer deliveries.

**As Quality and Technical support, your key skills should include**:

- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Self-starter in managing your own daily work to ensure maximum efficiency
- Excellent organisation skills with good attention to detail
- The ability to work in a fast-paced office environment as part of a rapidly growing team
- Excellent numerical and IT skills; the ability to learn and utilise the inhouse computer systems
- Flexibility to adapt well to change
- The ability to use your initiative to resolve issues, problem resolution of installations and faults
- Good product and system knowledge

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
