**Compensation**: £46,221 - £54,490 dependent on experience

This is a key hire to join Babcock within the Procurement and Supply Chain Business Unit, accountable for the procurement and contract management of work packages from inception through to contract closure.

**Who we are looking for?**

You'll have extensive Commercial experience in managing the contract delivery of multiple, high value and complex work packages ideally from an Engineering, Construction or Manufacturing background.

**What will you be doing?**
- Managing contract deliverables, supplier progress and performance to ensure effective delivery of contracted requirements
- Managing contract risks and change and implementing effective mitigation's to meet project cost, schedule and quality requirements
- Supporting the delivery of project objectives through the rigorous management of supplier performance with regular progress reporting and stakeholder engagement

**The experience you'll bring**
- Knowledge and practitioner of contract management, supply principles, processes and practice
- Experience of standard form contracts i.e. FIDIC, NEC3, LOGIC and BIMCO
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- In depth understanding and management of contract change and control variations
- Great work ethic and ability to manage ambiguity
