Ensuring customer requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently Ensure total guest satisfaction is achieved Provide a level of service that exceeds customer expectations Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and quality in the cafe-bistro at all times, including outside areas and toilets To take on full responsibility for the cash float and all cash / credit card receipts when on duty Setting up and clearing down after service To liaise with the manager and other members of staff, with regards to the days business needs To relay customer feedback, positive or negative to the manager To maintain a close and effective communication link between front of house and kitchen Ensure that all guests are asked about allergies and intolerances, and relay these to the kitchen and other front of house team members To undertake precautions to ensure the safety of others as well as oneself. Also ensure implementation of cleaning and housekeeping schedules ensuring that adequate standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the business complying to statutory regulations, i.e. food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and health and safety. To be aware of all relevant emergency and evacuation procedures To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested with the nature and level of the business requirements. The purpose of the job description is to indicate the general level of duties and responsibility of the post. The detailed duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character or level of responsibility entailed. The list of duties is not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time according to changing demands.

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
