Day to Day Responsibilities_**
- You will provide, manage, and develop a high-quality catering service to our residents, guests and visitors to the home.
- You will operate a safe, professional, and cost-effective catering service within the company operational standards and comply with all statutory requirements.
- You will ensure that all our residents are provided with enough choice of nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, broadly following the standard menus.
- You will ensure that food orders are made punctually two times a week and that the food costs are within budget throughout the year.

Essential Requirements_**

- **
- _Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification (or willing to study towards this)_
- _Live within 20 minutes of the home_
- _Hold a Basic or intermediate Food Safety Certificate (or willing to work towards this) _
- _At least four years catering experience, ideally with customers who require special dietary requirements._
- _Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace_
- _Ability to work with and lead a team_
- _Ability to work under pressure_

- _Using new products and developments in the catering industry_

Experience of working as a Chef in a Hospital / Nursing Home or Residential Home
