**Core Function**

The Cleaner at Johnson Way is responsible for maintaining a clean and professional working environment across office spaces, communal areas, and facilities. Working in line with GM Group’s _7 Standards_*, this role ensures a consistently high level of hygiene and tidiness in the workspace.

**Main Duties**
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas, including offices, restrooms, communal spaces and canteens.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks such as window cleaning and high-level dusting.
- Restock hygiene supplies and kitchen facilities including hand sanitisers, toilet paper, and soap.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained, regularly restocked and stored safely following Health and Safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Front of House Manager.
- Monitor and report any health and safety hazards.
- Ensure storage areas and supply rooms are organised and stocked.
- Follow the GM House cleaning guidelines and etiquette daily.

**This is a permeant role**

**Mon-Fri**:

- 2 hours per day

**Total** - 10 hours per week

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Be adaptable to changing work schedules and available to support the team during peak times and high-demand periods.
- A proactive and positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable**
- Basic knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations (training will be provided).
- Previous experience in cleaning commercial office spaces.
