**2gether Support Solutions** have an exciting opportunity for a **Weekend Facilities Services Manager**to be part of our team. You will be joining on a **full-time, permanent basis**, and will be based at the **QEQM Hospital in Margate**. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£31,518 per annum and excellent benefits**.

**Hours of Work**: Friday 12- 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am - 7pm and Monday 7am - 2pm

2gether Support Solutions provides facilities, property, procurement and professional services to the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Trust, which is one of the largest in the UK.

We were formed in 2018, by East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT), and provide total facilities management services along with a range of business support including procurement, medical engineering and capital build projects.

2gether Support Solutions employs over 1,300 people and our core customer is East Kent Hospitals, managing five hospitals over 210,000sqm of estate.

The **Weekend Facilities Services Manager**will have**day to day operational responsibility as the main interface and point of contact for all facilities services over the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday) these services include but are not limited to, Domestic, Catering, Housekeeping, Portering, Waste, Linen, Reception and Security services on site.

**Your responsibilities as our Weekend Facilities Services Manager will include**:

- Ensuring that all areas of Facilities Services are managed and dealing with any issues as they arise- Ensuring that patients and staff within the site are supported appropriately- Managing a large team of staff including team leaders, providing various aspects of services to EKHUFT at one of our Acute sites over a 4 day weekend- Being responsible for the Domestic Services, Portering Services Catering Services including patient feeding and main reception staff to ensure contract service compliance in accordance with efficient and effective service delivery and national guidelines- Ensuring smooth handover at the beginning of the weekend (Friday afternoon) and leaving detailed report for handover on Monday morning across all service areas- Walking the site regularly to ensure staff is aware of your presence and feel supported- Supporting the Head of Facilities Solutions in ensuring no overspend on budget during weekend shifts and confirming what overtime and agency staff have been allocated and cost impact
**What we are looking for in our ideal Weekend Facilities Services Manager**:

- Minimum two years’ experience in managing facilities services in a large public organisation ideally the care environment- Previous management of a large team of staff including responsibility for absence, performance, recruitment and performance etc or having a regular involvement at a supervisory level- Clear demonstration of achievement in service delivery and innovation, quality improvements (through team working and collaboration) in a changing and challenging work environment within the context of Hotel services- Very good Customer Care skills to ensure a customer-driven approach in the delivery of services- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations- IT literate - Microsoft Office
