**DevOps Engineer - Romsey (Hybrid) - £45,000 to £95,000**We are working with a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence, Consulting and Industry areas. They work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.
With more than 600+ employees UK-wide and looking to increase that due to a phenomenal period of growth You will work directly with customers to integrate and support highly critical live solutions that have been developed by the wider project delivery team.You will take responsibility for release procedures and perform deployment tasks. You will also support live systems by triaging issues in production. You will contribute to the development roadmap by providing insight into customer needs and priorities.
The project covers a wide range of technologies supporting multiple pipelines consisting of data ingest, data store clusters, Query APIs and UI Components to presenting data from those APIs.

**Security Information**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deploying APIs and UI components into a Kubernetes cluster
- Integrating API / UI components with existing data stores and APIs
- Maintaining and developing existing architectural components including Data Ingest, Data Stores and REST APIs
- You will participate in sprint ceremonies with the agile team, attending daily stand-ups, epic decomposition, demos and planning sessions
- You will assist the wider team to understand upcoming API features and their impact on

**Requirements**:

- Perform appropriate software engineering using a number of languages and techniques
- An interest and ability to learn new and emerging platforms, technologies, techniques and approaches
- Familiar with Agile delivery, DevOps practices, software testing, and working with open source software.
- Familiarity with Python and/or Java
Beyond your technical skills, you will be proactive and able to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will work well alone or as part of a team. You will be curious and seek out the best approach/solution/tool forthe job at hand.
**Desirable skills**:
Apache Nifi / Flink / Java / Ansible / Docker / Kubernetes / ELK stack
