Retail Merchandiser - Leith
Salary - £32k - £35k
Our client are looking to employee a Merchandiser to join their team at their Head Office in Leith, Edinburgh.
Day to day responsibilities:

- Evaluating and interpreting data on current range performance, taking appropriate trading actions to get full maximisation of potential opportunities
- Liaising with suppliers and warehouse on deliveries
- Monitoring store stock levels, allocating and replenishing stock accordingly
- Continuous management and re-evaluating of the WSSI/OTB
- Organisation of trade plans for the division including sales, stock targets, margins, and mark downs
- Planning with the buyers, considering previous and potential trend data, SKU count and budget
- Providing line management and coaching to Junior Merchandiser
- Working collaboratively with Retail, Marketing, E-Commerce and other Head Office Teams
- Experience of working at a Senior Assistant Merchandiser level or Merchandiser level
- High levels of numerical and analytic ability
- Experience of OTB/WSSIs, managing a large number of SKUs, range planning and allocation/replenishment processes, weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting and sales and stock analysis
- Commercially astute and confident decision making with the ability to communicate across levels, including board level
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage own workload
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel
