We are looking to recruit a **Autism Specialist Advisor - Community Services (children and families)**
**Salary**: £20118.85 - £21750.13
**Hours**: 22.5
**Location**: Birmingham or Black Country

**This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an understanding of autism and experience supporting individuals to join the leading Autism Charity in the region and make a difference to the lives of autistic people and their families.**
Due to additional funding, we are recruiting to a new post to support autistic children and families in Birmingham and the Black Country.
We are looking for someone who has experience of support children with autism/SEND and their parents. Experience of providing advice, information and support and delivering training is also essential. An understanding how autism strategies can be used in a person-centred way will be an advantage.
The post holder will need flexibility to work as part of a small team including working outside their normal working hours when required, including evening and weekend work.
This post is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract due to funding constraints but with possibility of extension.
