**Fund Accountant - Private Equity/Private Debt**

Our client is a leading Private Debt firm, headquartered out of London, with 5 other offices globally and $11 billion in AUM.

They currently have an opportunity to join their Fund Finance team supporting the Fund Controllers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to gain experience in an established, dynamic and fast-growing investment firm.

**About the role**

The Fund Finance Team consists of a Head of Finance overseeing two Fund Controllers who each manage a team of three Fund Accountants and the teams are supported by a Fund Administrator.

The Fund Accountant will be responsible for several Funds within the team and is the primary point of contact, preparing all deliverables for review by the Fund Controllers and Head of Finance.

**The Fund Accountant is responsible for**:

- Fund Accounting and Reporting - preparation of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners e.g: Financial statements and Partner statements
- Fund Operations - preparation of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices and monitoring cash & liquidity
- Limited Partner Requests - monitoring and preparation of audit; regular and adhoc requests
- Training - developing an understanding of the Fund structure, software and processes

**What our client is looking for**:

- Strong academic profile
- Newly qualified or upto 2 years post qualified with either ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Accounting experience from a mid-tier Accountancy Practice working on Financial Services clients
- Accounts preparation experience would be highly desirable
- Be a strong team player, flexible and highly motivated and have good attention to detail
- A genuine desire to work in a fast paced Private Equity/Private Debt firm
