Pharmacy Liaison Lead

**Overview**:
Are you interested in making a difference and working with staff at Newham Rise as well as community pharmacies to reduce harm in the borough? If so, then this post is for you

**Responsibilities**:
Newham Rise is a busy community service, supporting Newham residents who are either problematically using drugs and/or alcohol themselves, or affected by someone else's use.

Operating out of 3 community hubs and a number of satellites across the borough, we aim to support service users in achieving their recovery goals by providing a range of interventions such as psychosocial support, medically assisted treatment, criminal justice pathways and access to residential treatment.

The service has significantly expanded in the last year or so and we are looking to strengthen and increase our relationships with community pharmacies as well as develop our own harm reduction offer to Newham residents.

You will also take the lead on pharmacy communication, training and specific projects within the service including development of a Chemsex pathway.
