Our client, based in the Newry/Armagh area, is widely recognised as a leading player within their niche manufacturing sector. As a result of recent growth and re-orgnaistaion they wish to recruit an experienced Yard Operative.
**SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES**
- Loading and unloading of deliveries
- Ensuring correct paperwork is received and given out
- Work with Production to ensure parts and goods-in are stored correctly and damaged goods are flagged up to the Manager
- Organise the Yard to ensure deliveries run smoothly
- Ensure general tidiness and adhere to H&S policies and procedures
**THE PERSON**
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Experience of driving a forklift
- Looking for a long term opportunity and move up to Yard Supervisor in the future
- Physically fit and enjoys working outdoors
- Job involves lifting/manual handling so must be prepared to do this.
- Ideally available to start in 1-2 weeks
**SALARY / HOURS**
Salary to £12 an hour
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:00
