At Sagittarius, we are a remarkable bunch of delivery folk. We love working on varied digital programs which range from all things Sitecore to large transformational projects. The delivery team is responsible for ensuring that we deliver quality, and value, on time, and most importantly on budget. The buck starts and stops with us.

We are currently seeking a Program Lead to work on one of our larger programs of work. You will be responsible for the overall delivery of large programs of work in accordance with the agreed customer requirements and business objectives from inception, through the entire project lifecycle to final customer acceptance & sign-off.

**About the role**:

- This role is ideal for someone with several years of digital experience (agency

side preferred), within a senior digital role. You will have an analytical mindset

and a focus on delivering excellent results in whatever you do.

What you'll do:

- Planning and strategizing: The Program lead is responsible for developing a

strategic plan for the program, outlining goals, timelines, resources required, and

potential risks.
- Help the team achieve a high level of performance and quality, holding teams

accountable for their work, removing obstacles, and mentoring less experienced

team members.
- Drive several concurrent, critical projects at pace across multiple functions.
- Define the project's schedule and scope while balancing this with timely and

regular value deliveries, organising and leading working and project status

meetings.
- Promote team empowerment, ensuring each team member is making a

meaningful contribution and invested in the project's success.
- Facilitate informed decision-making across projects taking into account strategic

priorities and fully informed risk assessments.
- Resource management: The program lead is responsible for managing the

resources required to deliver on the programs of work, forward planning across

the roadmap to ensure that work is delivered on time.
- Stakeholder Management: The program lead is responsible for identifying

stakeholders and ensuring their needs are met throughout the program
- Mentorship of junior members of the team where required.

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure that all project & technical requirements are achieved and validated

with successful final customer sign-off
- To provide leadership to the cross-functional, integrated project team (IPT) in the

achievement of a successful project outcome, including the necessary issues

escalation, decision-making, and requirement-deviation processes, from initial

concept development through to project conclusion.
- To drive continuous improvement in all aspects of how we operate to create more

value for our customers and increase our returns.
- Have full project budget/financial ownership to ensure we are delivering value

and within specified budgets
- Full program reporting to a varying range of client stakeholders from the project

team to C-suite

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in a senior delivery role with proven experience in team

leadership, project delivery, and management of digital projects.
- Experience in the management of programs of work & associated project

management best practice processes (preferably PMI/Six Sigma/lean, and

Agile/Scrum-qualified or similar)
- Excellent communication skills are paramount in this role, You will be expected to

create and deliver workshops, and presentations, at varying levels of seniority

with your stakeholders
- Superlative problem-solving and mitigation skills
- In-depth knowledge of program and project management methods and principles
