**Fully Qualified Maintenance Engineer**
**Location**:Poole
**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000 (Open to discussion)
**Working Hours**: Flexibility available (7 am/8 am - 3 pm/4 pm)
Our client is looking for a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Poole area. You will be required to work alongside all machine operatives and liaise with all departments within the business, to keep the machines and warehouse runningsmoothly to keep the production stations going.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
- Monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
- Liaise with departments, engineering, and production colleagues.
- Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
- Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns
- Updating all correct papers, to maintain constant communication.
- improve health and safety policies and procedures.

**Skills**:

- Business skills, as you may be responsible for managing budgets, leading a team, and liaising with suppliers.
- Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.
- Confidence to respond positively when under pressure.
- The capacity to understand a range of engineering functions and procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administration and mathematical skills
