Manufacturing Operative

gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives for a client based in Exeter. The factory can be reached by public transport from Exeter centre.
As a Manufacturing Operative you will work in the deburring department of the company, finishing the products to a high standard keeping to prescribed activity timings. You will be expected to work safely and to keep the workspace clean and decluttered at all times.
**Your duties will include**:
To safely undertake deburring activities as instructed.
To use any tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
Record all paperwork to correct level and format.
To use company software to record work undertaken accurately and in a timely manner.
Works closely with the Deburring supervisor and colleagues.
Maintains the highest standards of work.
Assist others on their section as required.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
**About you and the key skills required**:
Attention to detail, Following written and verbal instructions, Safety first, quality focused, Able to work unsupervised as well as part of the bigger team, Professional attitude, Good timekeeping, Reliable, Remain focused for long periods of time.
**We have the following shifts & pay rates available**:
Monday to Friday, Rotational Shift pattern:
Week 1: 06:00-14:00
Week 2: 14:00-22:00
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Pay: £12.75-£13.25 per hour
