**About Axiom**: Axiom is where legal teams go to find the right talent for everything from routine in-house tasks to complex outside counsel work. Too many legal departments are stuck having to choose between paying the high fees of their law firm, hiring full-time employees they don't need, or turning to a low-cost agency that can't meet their quality standards. At the same time, top lawyers want to work on challenging legal matters, but they want more control over how, when, and where they practice. Both are forced compromises that no one should have to make. Axiom shares and meets the higher standards of its clients and lawyers, with our "work smarter, adapt faster, go further" approach - connecting growing mid-market and Fortune 500 companies with the world's deepest bench of experienced, specialized legal talent. **Job Summary**: **Main Duties and Responsibilities**: - 40% - Processing of pre-hire diligence: - Assisting with the end-to-end management of our due diligence process, including completing a wide array of background checks as well as client-specific requirements. - Routine auditing of internal diligence processes, and ad hoc auditing of workforce subsets for specific clients. - the entry, maintenance, governance, and ongoing audit of global People data. Responsible for processing the full array of employee transactions. - 40% - Responsible for actioning a wide scope of business processes in support of the People department: - g., hire, termination, job change, relocation/transfer, promotion, comp change, onboarding etc. - Troubleshooting process and data failures for the above activities to ensure timely problem solving - Proactive engagement with new hires and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely onboarding completion. Striving to achieve 100% compliance with Axiom's internal employment processes. - Support HRIS by troubleshooting system incidents, unexpected results, or process flaws, reporting, and performing scheduled activities. - 20% - Assisting on cross-functional projects with PAX stakeholders: - Providing input to small-medium projects aimed at developing People processes based on stakeholder and employee feedback. - Creating internal process documentation and shared user guides. - Assisting the HRIS team with troubleshooting incidents to achieve timely problem solving. **Desired Criteria** - Legally eligible to work in Northern Ireland. - Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (or sufficient work experience in lieu of degree). - Able to follow internal process guides and repeat processes quickly with low error margin. - Ability to work to competing time deadlines. Able to prioritise as required. - Team player who can confidently develop and maintain remote relationships. - Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting quickly to changes and being able to creatively problem solve independently. - Proficient with systems including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. **Applications for this role will close on 4th of December
