Trainee Echocardiographer

**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes current _East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, _**_bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust.** _**

**The Cardio-Respiratory department at East Cheshire NHS trust is seeking to recruit a dynamic physiologist with an interest in echocardiography and training. The post includes the opportunity to complete a fully funded post graduate certificate in Echocardiography and support to complete your British society of Echocardiography accreditation.**

**We are a dynamic, forward thinking, and friendly echo team who currently provide a wide range of services including specialist clinics. We are continuously expanding and developing the services that we offer. The department offers a comprehensive range of non-invasive Cardiac and Respiratory investigations.**

**Your role will include dedicated time to help train and mentor the next generation of physiologists/healthcare scientists.**

**You will possess a minimum of one year's post qualification experience and the ability to learn and develop your skills in Echocardiography. You will need to be an innovative individual able to work autonomously whilst promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for team members and students and have excellent communication and effective leadership skills.**

**You will hold a full clean driving license as you will be required to support the community diagnostic centres in the future.
